Abstract: Lou tends Bacciagalupe's ice cream push cart and Stinky throws Limburger cheese into it. Soon thereafter a nutty millionaire gives the boys a $500 bill which Bud tears up thinking it's counterfeit. When he finds out it was real money, Bud goes completely crazy and is carted away to the old actors' home, where after convincing them he's not nuts, he and Lou entertain the folks with a brilliant performance of their famous "Who's on First" routine.

Abstract: After causing havoc in their new job in a pet store, the boys drive Mike the Cop batty with their pal, Bingo the chimp. At Mike's insistence that they get a license for Bigno, Lou mistakenly applies for a marriage license causing much havoc at the town hall. Things really get hilarious when Bingo winds up in a neighborhood woman's baby carriage.

Abstract: Lou's selling pots and pans and cooks a dinner for the whole gang at the roominghouse to demonstrate the utility of his wares. Chaos in the kitchen ensues as Lou first refuses to kill the cute duck for dinner and then accidently stuffs a replacement chicken with yeast so that it floats up to the ceiling.

Abstract: Bud does the "loafing-knead-dough" bakery routine and frustrates Lou, who shortly thereafter is selling straw hats on the street and fending off a parade of lunatics. the highlight of this scene is the great "Susquehanna Hat Company" routine. The boys then visit the Fields Employment Agency where more mayhem and hilarity unfold.

Abstract: The boys plan a birthday party for Hillary and drive Mr. Fields to distraction, first in the food store and later in their apartment. Lou is caught up in an impossible situation when Fields repeatedly comes into the apartment demanding the radio be lowered bud Bud insists each time that he raise the volume.

Abstract: Hillary's father visits and insists that she can only marry a man of considerable musical talent. So Lou goes to Mr. Fields' brother for singing lessons and when that doesn't work, he and Bud cook up a scheme to fool the old man by buying records from Bacciagalupe's music store and pretending that it's really Lou singing. As the plot unfolds Mr. Fields offers a hilarious diversion with his description of life on the farm.

Abstract: Lou's pretty neighbor, Ruby, induces him to fall for her in a plot to free herself from her gangster boyfriend. Lou is so smitten by her that a piece of bread he put in his pocket turns to toast. He then amazes Ruby dipping pickles in milk before eating them a getting into a furious fight with a scarecrow.

Abstract: Lou invites the whole gang to his apartment to help him celebrate his birthday. Things get off on the wrong foot with Mr. Fields when no matter what kind overture Lou makes to him he goes nuts turning each one inside out to become an insult. The party becomes a disaster when Lou mixes ant paste for antipasto. To cheer Lou up, Bacciagalupe offers to make him a birthday cake, a kindness which Lou turns into classic slapstick.

Abstract: In error Lou gets a tax refund of $1,000,000 and after cashing it walks out of the bank in his long underwear holding piles of money in his arms. Crooks follow and try to rob him. Mike the Cop, who thinks Lou has counterfeited the money, generates a wild encounter at the roominghouse with cops, crooks, treasury agents, Mr. Fields and many others.

Abstract: The boys inadvertently buy a crate of roller skates, which unbeknownst to them contain stolen diamonds in one pair. Crooks pursue them and Mr. Fields greedily buys the skates and then blows his top thinking he's been had. Bingo, the chimp, on the other hand, takes greate delight in the skates but drives Mike the Cop crazy. In the hilarious conclusion Bud finds the diamonds and goes bananas with greed.

Abstract: Lou's Uncle Bozzo visits and drives everyone crazy with his loud opera singing and his ultra laziness, highlighted by the boys pushing a bed, on which Bozzo lies relaxing, through downtown streets. All three of them get thrown into jail where much more hilarity ensues.

Abstract: To stop Mr. Fields from evicting them, the boys convince him that Lou is about to receive a lot of money from a fictitious rich uncle, Ruppert. Lou dresses up with a false beard and pretends to be Uncle Ruppert until Mike the Cop thinks Lous has killed him. Mike and Fields confound the whole situation to the point of classic vaudeville hilarity.

Abstract: The Gusto Steak Sauce "Money to burn" program happens to be on when the boys are fixing Mr. Fields' TV set. The TV show host call Mr. Fields' apartment, and by mistake the boys answer the $1000 question correctly. They hatch a scheme to get Mr. Fields out of his apartment so they can be there when the prize money is delivered, but Mr. Fields returns unexpectedly and mayhem ensues.

Abstract: The boys are coaxed by Mr. Fields to judge the "Miss Mud Turtle" bathing beauty pageant. Desperate to pay their room rent, they go to a finance company for a loan. The enforcer for the finance company bribes Lou to select his girlfriend as the winner. Meanwhile Bud has agreed to choose Mr. Field's niece in exchange for free rent. When Mr. Fields and the enforcer are both double crossed by the boys, a wild chase ensues.

Abstract: Lou puts handcuffs on Mike the Cop so Mike can demonstrate how cuffs immobilize a tough guy. Lou gleefully slaps around helpless Mike until with the help of Hillary, Mike turns the tables. Later, a society matron named Olga Van Goo, hires the boys to impersonate British noblemen. The boys' table manners ruin a posh dinner party, culminating in a wild ice cream throwing melee.

Abstract: Killer King, a jealous heavyweight fighter, moves in across the hall from the boys. Before long, Killer thinks Lou is messing around with Dixie, his blond bombshell of a wife, and he's ready to murder Lou if he can find him. Bud finds out that Killer needs a sparring partner and it's worth $200 to anyone who'll step in the ring. He cons Lou into doing it without telling him the whole story.

Abstract: Lou plans to marry a girl he has met through a lonely hearts column. When Lou gets knocked cold in a local gambling raid, Bud hatches a scheme to break off the marriage. When Lou wakes up, Bud convinces him he has amnesia and that he's been married to the girl he met through the column. Mr. Fields offers to help Lou get a divorce settlement, but instead ends up throwing the book at Lou in a hysterical courtoom scene.

When they finally end up as rookies at the police academy, they create havoc and are thrown out when Lou sets off a live hand grenade.

At a cafeteria, the boys get involved in a hilarious case of mistaken identity with twin waitresses. Finally, Lou is ready to dine on oyster stew, but the oyster has other ideas.
